FR: set countermeasures launch vector
It'll be useful to specify a vector for launched countermeasures (e.g. in the ships.tbl entry) when the player presses the X key.
Example use case - When designing 2D missions (e.g. missions with a "ground") or missions with an "up" or "down" with gravity, simulating throwing out smoke grenades, or launching naval warship-style countermeasure flares vertically upwards
This is a good and useful idea. I'm for it. I also think this could be done by setting mission gravity and giving the countermeasures a gravity multiplier?
Yep you've already got the ability for a weapon to fall to earth with $Gravity Const:, but it'll be useful to launch the countermeasure up into the air as well.
Now you've got me wondering if negative gravity works... 👀
