Add a circular movement to the freelock view

Open Torc1981 opened this issue 8 months ago • 2 comments

As explained, the request is about to simulate a real head movement into the freelock view and into the laft right up down back views. L, taking account of a sort of fake head dimension. At the moment the freelock it's just a point moving, the problem is that if you use a cockpit body you'd need some pivot, or offset that simulate te rotation of the head taking account of the approximate distance and movement a real head do, let's say an offset of 10vm in all directions.

Talking to Torc, this is basically the request that has come up a few times before, which is to define the eye offset (height and forward radius) of the pilot's point of view.

You Can already set the eye offset for cockpit view. The problem is that using a fixed point moving you see the missing neck and upper parto of the body. If there would be a circular offset that emulate the head/neck rotation, it would becomes more natural, avoiding to look "inside" the pilot body model
