FR: qtFRED should be included in the nightly uploads
The CI already builds qtFRED but doesn't include it in the tarball. The build scripts still contain instructions from the last attempt to package qtFRED but those instructions are commented out since it never worked.
I'll try to fix this once I'm done with the first NuKnossos alpha. If someone else wants to work on this before then, feel free to re-assign.
I believe the reason QtFRED builds aren't included is because they aren't ready for 100% replacement of FRED in it's current form. Some of the remaining editors still need to be implemented in order for QtFRED to satisfy the "parity with FRED" requirement.
The Windows nightlies include qtFRED, though. According to @asarium at least part of the issue was that the packaging scripts never worked on Linux.
Well, that's interesting. I thought we were having people manually download it still for testing because you really just can't make a full mission using QtFRED yet (tmk).
The metadata to list qtFRED in Knossos' mod menus was added 3 years ago and it was already included in the nightlies back then so I was pretty surprised when I noticed that it's not part of the Linux nightlies.
