It's working again today. No change since Friday except a weekend passed -- I did not even restart FF. We'll see how long it lasts this time.

@achernyakevich-sc -- I already tried that last time somebody asked: https://github.com/mozilla/multi-account-containers/issues/2689#issuecomment-2489329629 The problem persisted even with all extensions disabled.

Update: External links have been working again normally since coming back from the holidays. Whatever the problem is, it's quite intermittent.

The issue came back a 2-3 months ago. Today I finally noticed something unusual that might help triage it: I switched github to always open in my "personal" container instead...
