open url from outside

whenever i use any other app to launch an URL on my default browser, and it's set to foss browser, there's a higher than 50% chance it won't open on the first attempt, while it always works in the second attempt.

this bug keeps me wanting, every single time, to remove foss as my default browser!

can you please fix this today? 😁

i can surely give you screen recordings and logs or whatever you need to troubleshoot it... let me know.
