iOS 7 Simulator: Clearing cookies/data in Safari doesn't work

Summary:

On the iOS Simulator, clearing cookies and data through the Settings menu does not actually clear cookies or data.

Platforms:

  • iOS 7 Simulator

How to reproduce:

  1. Log into a website of your choosing to get a session cookie
  2. Choose Settings from Home Screen and navigate to Safari settings
  3. Choose "Clear Cookies and Data"
  4. Return to the website and observe you are still logged in.

Ugh, why bother.

Workarounds:

From the menubar, choose iOS Simulator - Reset Content and Settings.

I have the same issue , do you clear safari cookies in iOS simulator .
