This code has landed and will be in the next release.

This is an old issue and long since resolved.

Why SPIFFS over EEPROM? The [preferences](https://docs.espressif.com/projects/arduino-esp32/en/latest/tutorials/preferences.html) APIs seems like it was made just for this.

@AlanGabbianelli I think a documentation update is the best solution for this. Where do you think we should put it? Do you want to write something up in a PR?...

I think this is better as a documentation fix only.

This appears to be related to d-s-f not supporting hex colors, and not understanding "normal" and "default".
