Changes needed in individual build.gradle files

Configuration compile will be obsolete by the end of 2018. Need to replace it with implementation. And need to add maven repository to the project build.gradle file. It is commented out in a previous commit. screenshot from 2018-09-30 18-21-47

It is working fine by now without maven so I don't find it necessary to add.
