Another vote for InfluxDB integration. It has a super easy to use HTTP API. http://influxdb.com/docs/v0.7/api/reading_and_writing_data.html

There is a Java lib too https://github.com/influxdb/influxdb-java

Syyren 'targets' can map to 'series' in the influxdb world.
