CI fails on MacOS with "clang cannot compile programs"

Since 5 days ago, our CI has started to fail on MacOS with

  ../meson.build:1:0: ERROR: Compiler /usr/bin/clang cannot compile programs.

which doesn't make sense to me (yet). Unsure if that message is caused by something else..

Hmm, the difference might be that libomp seems to be missing from the environment now (previous job output). No idea why but might be enough to set LDFLAGS, CPPFLAGS..

It looks like macos-latest switched from 12.7.4 to 14.4.1.

This doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. Not sure why but still happy to close this. 🤷
