App ignores http-proxy-user-pass and http-proxy in config

Hiya,

The issue looks solved but its not! As if you test, its ignoring the proxy connection lines and connect directly to the VPN/remote-server without any connection with proxy happens. You just changed it in a way that, its ignoring to connect to proxy completely, but instead its connecting to VPN/remote-server. e.g: if you add this line that you mentioned earlier(after filling with appropriate IP /Port/Credentials value:

http-proxy 1.2.3.4 8080

<http-proxy-user-pass>
yourusername
secretpassword
</http-proxy-user-pass>

Its just ignoring the proxy lines above and connect without proxy, you can understand this from logs! Could you please fix this in earliest time that is possible for you? :)

Feel free to request me to test your builds or troubleshooting tips while you are making new changes, so I can help you fix it sooner. :)

May please fix this issue?

Thnxx Ales

Is this an issue? Did you disable "use system proxy"?

Hi @schwabe

Yes, I tried everything. Including enabling/disabling the 'use system proxy' and enabling/disabling custom settings. unfortunately, your app never uses the IP/Port proxy to connect initially then connect to VPN over the connected IP/Port proxy. Could you please fix this?

Thanks :)

Update: How can I reopen this issue?

Thanks for reopening this ticket, could you please look into this? How can I use a proxy with VPN as proxy connect first and then VPN connect over the connected proxy(IP/Port or Sock4/5)?

Thanks :)

When time permits. Don't expect a quick resolution of this. This is still a spare time project.
