Conflict with FireFox 38.0.5?

Open Thannah opened this issue 9 years ago • 2 comments

Since updating FireFox to 38.0.5, I am getting this message when first starting FireFox after starting up my MacBookPro:

"AbortMessage: [341] ###!!! ABORT: unable to find a usable font (Lucida Grande): file /builds/slave/rel-m-rel-m64_bld-000000000000/build/gfx/thebes/gfxTextRun.cpp, line 1869"

On attempt to restart FireFox, everything is okay, but of course this is very annoying - any chance it is a conflict with your fix?

Thanks again and again for allowing me to read the screen on my MBP! If it hadn't been for your fix, I would have had to throw out my MBP after Yosemite ruined it!

I don't have any issues with firefox (same version). Are you perhaps on the new OS X 10.11 beta?

No I am on 10.10.2 I don't know whether this is an additional clue, but this morning FireFox crash on startup changed the message to: "AbortMessage: [370] ###!!! ABORT: unable to find a usable font (serif): file /builds/slave/rel-m-rel-m64_bld-000000000000/build/gfx/thebes/gfxTextRun.cpp, line 1869"
