Privacy Settings causes firefox to not properly restore previously used window size on application start

I am using the Firefox Privacy Settings extension on current Firefox 59.x, on Linux if that matters.

I've noticed that if this extension is enabled when Firefox starts, it fails to restore the window size from the last used session. If I disable the extension, the window size will be remembered and restored on each invocation of the application. If I enable Privacy Settings, it seems to use a default window size.

I was able to figure this out after googling for window resizing problems and found that someone else mentioned the same issue with Privacy Settings (or a similar app).

I found this to be annoying, but if memory serves me right, some websites can track users based on window size, so I'm not sure if this is intentional or not.

If it's intentional, might want to add something to the FAQ about it.

Same here. It seems that Privacy Settings rewrites a file called xulstore.json on the profile folder. I don't know if it really needs to change the part of the file with location and geometry settings. Hope someone can clarify this.

Set websites.resistFingerprinting to false. It should be that toggle.
