no journals fetched via api but works directly on google scholar

i had a couple of journals for which im trying to extract metadata, i extract the first N characters, process them and then pass to scholarly with a scraperapi proxy. using scholarly i dont get results but if i copy paste onto google scholar i can see the results.

what type of text should i pass in the search_pub method?
