notify comment author about replies to his/her comment

I'm curios if there've been any updates to this ?

It seems like it could be done outside of schanck by just automatically looking at new comments and mailing the users they are replying to.

depending on the auth method of the user there might be different ways to notify.

any of them would be awesome.

something even easier probably would be a notification on the hosting website itself (like they do everywhere nowadays)
