Pomodoro not working properly with the Brave browser

Hi The extension does not provide notifications or sound at the end of any time period. The Brave browser is based on Chromium, so is very similar to Google Chrome. However, I suspect the issue lies with Brave and its privacy settings. It may be best to first play around with those before checking the extension?
