blog post versioning

Having no clear way to comment on posts for edits or see their evolution seems a little broken to me. I can think of 2 routes to fix this:

• programmatically backing them via git to a repo
  • text would still be saved in db
  • would need to associate with a list of diff URL's, or just a link to the gist
  • this could be done in gists
  • attribute changes in the commit comment
• gdocs integration
  • better medium for editting
  • working with markdown might be painful
