Permanently connected resistor network should be gated

Open WBSTClarke opened this issue 4 years ago • 0 comments

Hi there, it is my opinion that the resistor network being permanently connected to +5V may interfere with the co-existence of a real PS/2 floppy drive. If DS1 (DSEL_B) is used to gate the +5V supply (and/or common GND) then the resistor network will only be active when the adapter is actively selected (All IBM PS/2 drives respond as drive 1, due to the "twist").
