Implement password protected share links

Hi there. I am using a hosted version of ownCloud which only allows for password protected share links. I set up shareLinkCreator in Thunar but instead of the Link I get:

failure 403 You need to provide a password to create a public link, only protected links are allowed

(The above is missing some tags, github swallows them. Nothing important.)

Could you implement the functionality to share files via password protected links?
