Should QuantitativeValueDistribution and MonetaryAmount have additional supertype of QuantitativeValue ?

Sorry for my late reply: Yes, I think that would both make a lot of sense and would fit nicely into my original idea of modeling intervals and point values in a way that queries for open or closed intervals would also match valid point values(e.g. "find a TV set with a screen size of at least 100 cm" would match both a fictitious TV set with a variable screen size and one with a fixed screen size).
