MIDI Output Driver Issue in Preview 3
This issue still persists in the Preview 3 version. I’ve closed the original issue and migrated the description here, along with a reproducible DOS game attachment. Below is the original issue description:
This is an issue in the Preview 2 version. When selecting MIDI Output as Roland MT-32/CM-32L:CM32L and running certain DOS games that rely on this driver for sound, the following problem occurs: background music plays normally, but during menu operations there are brief minor stutters and crackling noises. This issue did not occur in Preview 1.
After entering the game, when prompted to select MT-32, choose "Y". Then, enter the game with all password digits set to 9. Click on a blank area to open the menu, and confirm again to close the menu. A crackling noises occurs at this point. This issue did not exist in Preview 1 and is 100% reproducible in the current version.
