MK Trilogy freezing when selecting character (Kommunity Patch)

Hello, When attempting to run the Kommunity Patched (https://cubanraul.altervista.org/mkt/) version of MK Trilogy via DOSBOX Pure v0.9.7, it always freezes when selecting a character.

Works fine on dosbox_core_libretro (r4482 3acbd34) and dosbox_svn_libretro (0.74-SVN r4393 53ca2f6), as well as the standalone dosbox version (staging 0.80.1)

I have tried passing the CONF file via the launching process, creating a BAT with all the configurations set into it but it always results in the same issue: the game freezes when selecting the character.

It works for me.

What game files are you using? I used patch 3.42 on the GOG version of MK Trilogy. Then i just ran the MKTRIL.EXE file in DOSBox-Pure and i have no issues selecting any character.

Try updating DBP to 0.9.9. I'm also on the latest RetroArch, version 1.16.
