RetroArch version: 1.8.7 Dosbox Pure version: 0.9.6 (arm 32bit build) Platform: Rockchip RK3328, Linux 4.4.159 Symptom: After booting into Win98SE, there are frequent popup dialogs with "page fault" errors, from File Explorer, rundll, or just any Windows application, making the system not really usable.

Same on Android (also reported with screenshots in issue #284).

Yep can confirm I got exactly those same errors during and after installation. You probably should update the title of #284 to reflect the new errors.

For now the only reliable way around these issues on non-Intel platforms is to toggle the core option System > Advanced > Force Normal Core in OS. Because switching to the "Normal CPU Core" incurs quite a performance hit, it might make sense to only enable this during critical moments like during OS install or during booting and disable the option once a fullscreen game is running. I'm aware that this isn't great but for now that is all there is. Hopefully things can be improved from here on.
