Pure starts fine, then large black box covers most of screen: Retropie

Hello. I'm really enjoying the lr-version of Pure on my Retropie build. However, I come across a problem that I can't seem to fix. It's random, sometimes it happens. But more often than not, it does.

I select a game, it loads and enters the Pure menu to select the program (.exe) to run, then the screen gets covered by a massive block of black. Not sure if this is a window running something, or if this is graphic issue. It's random, at times it does not appear. On the flip side... if I've already chosen and set as default the run program, the block still appears and the game is unplayable. I have to exit and retry a few games until it stays clear. But it will come back.

Not specific game makes it happen.. it happens for everything I throw at it. I've tried every setting for the retroarch core that involves the graphics.

I can remove it only by deleting the retroarch.cfg file and allowing it to rebuild another, but then I loose all my settings for the -Pure emulator.

I don't know what else to post here other than my retroarch.cfg file. Keep in mind, settings have changed since I loaded Pure, so some selectins in the config file might not be default. I have even gone so far as to remove Pure and reload it several times.. same end result.

Thanks! And other than this issue.. this is an amazing fork of the original emulator. Runs just about everything I throw at it from the late 80's into the early 90s until the "3d card Era" started.

Best,

JamR

Sorry for not having responded so far but I have no means of testing a Retropie build. Is this still an issue nowadays?

Closing under the assumption that this has either been fixed or is not applicable anymore.
