Child ViewControllers are not notified of dismissals, etc

Forgive me if this doesn't make sense in your mind for the library. As far as I can tell if I have VC A in a Floating Panel and that VC A presents a new VC B modally, VC A's dismiss(animated:completion:) will never be called since Floating Panel is absorbing it. Would it be possible to pass this call (and perhaps others I am overlooking) onto the child or does that not make sense?

Who calls VC A's dismiss method? And Are child view controllers children of VC A?

Sorry, Base VC presents VC A modally, then VC A presents VC B modally, then VC B requests VC A dismiss it.
