installs but fails to be of use

I use rdp client on my window 7 after runing the script as root everything installed then when I go on the sesman x11rdp option in the windows on rdp client on windows 7 it just disconnects.

on ubuntu 16.04 xfce4 desktop

Did you try sesman-Xvnc ? I'm not sure, but I think there's some kind of incompatibility with recent Xorg that it's building against...

It is not correct. o-Matic is a tool to enable sesman-X11rdp. Using sesman-Xvnc is out of point of view.

This is. It looks X11rdp is not installed in your system. Installation didn't succeed.

install took a while and I had to reinstall xrdp and now my windows system cn connect to my linux one however all it shows is a black screen

I did as you suggested i blanked it but when i connect using display setting 24 on windows rdp client it connects and the connection log comes up just ending in connection ok shows just log window and black screen.

I'm not sure what the means. You're saying you see the connection log (on the client) but it just sticks there? Or turns into a black screen?

I see connection log on client sticks there but if i minimise the screen and maximise i get a black screen on the client either way my desktop is not shown on the client
