What is your feature request?

An open calendar alternative to the current date-picker

Background

Our figma design have been updated and now include an open calendar to reduce user clicks (2 in case of our date range)

Idea

Ideally a completely component but alternatively adding an auto-open feature on the current date-picker (though this would cause issue of covering other components in the page depending on how the date-picker calendar open)

Goals and objectives

This would be the ideal outcome, even better if this can be designed as a date range picker
