I like the idea of not breaking backward compatibility for a certain time (what `aws-sdk` did with `Aws` and `AWS` namespace http://ruby.awsblog.com/post/TxFKSK2QJE6RPZ/Upcoming-Stable-Release-of-AWS-SDK-for-Ruby-Version-2 ) but no strong opinions.

@pierresouchay add support for new APIs: - https://www.consul.io/api/acl/auth-methods.html - https://www.consul.io/api/acl/binding-rules.html But I don't think I'll be able to work on that (no access to k8s right now).

@ketzacoatl I moved away from Fabio at this time but seems about right with what you see.

@1941198 any chance you can rebase against latest changes? @magiconair or @nathanejohnson what would it take to get this merged?

@leprechau we're not using this in production, we're currently running https://github.com/fabiolb/fabio/pull/811 that allows turning off the consistent reads.
