FEATURE INFORMATION

RandomPatches exposes read and login timeouts are hardcoded in vanilla Minecraft.

Adding this server-side only has taken an old laptop user from kicked after 5 second, or unable to login at all for most day, into consistent session experience.

I am still trying to quantify this for our players who are as edge-case as this user is, but I think its worth being on the radar. It is a controversial mod, so I totally understand if refused.

Mod also includes;

• Configurable player speed limits ("moving too fast" messages)
• Configurable window title/icon (potential for further mod pack customization by you)
• Toggle Narrator keybind, Minecart AI Fix, Faster language switching, Force return to the title screen, all configurable.

Well, I have it installed server side and have no idea how to tell if it's working.

Users might be able to confirm easier - people who are complaining of frequent timeouts should be better, but you should also see less timeouts in server logs.

Our user confirms the occasional 5s local freeze up, but remain connected to the server. She's fine from unable to connect at all, or 30min sessions, to 6hr sessions.
