Issue Description

Game eventually ends up using all the ram the PC has (In my case, 16GB) Allocated 9gb to the pack.

Reproduce Steps

Launch game, Memory usage gradually climbs until it peaks out and then computer becomes touch and go when playing/doing other things.

I'd think 9 Gigs is a lot to use on a 16gb system. I can only just get by with allocating 7gb, as the game uses around 8.5gigs total after some time playing, leaving some room for a bit of multitasking.

Are you using any Java args? - I found this post quite helpful for keeping the game running well when I had to lower the ram allocated.

Nothing has changed in the args. I was running 1.3.1 on my server and client for about 2 months. The server would happily run at around 25gb (allocated 30). My computer would use 10-12gb. Only in the last few weeks has this leak occured, before updating to 1.5.1. The leak still continues on 1.5.1

Others who play this pack have also said they've been having this issue.

I've noticed that it seems to use less since 1.5.1. It's a bit of a weird one...

Guess I could try reinstall the pack. Highly doubt it will fix it. Could be a microupdate to the launcher messing with things.

Re downloading the pack (deleting all the files backups etc) has most likely solved this issue. I made sure to save a few things first Journeymap folder Saves folder (If any SP worlds are played/used) Knownkeys.txt for key configs options.txt servers.dat

Still occurring, even with a re-download.

We'll probably need someone with more debugging experience then. Either that or getting a pack update where all the mods are up to date and seeing if it still happens - although I guess updates might be slow due to the load on Scalda at the moment...

Might have found a cause for it: https://github.com/SleepyTrousers/EnderIO/issues/4848

thanks for reporting this to the relevant mod authors. I personally have not seen any memory leaks. but i am working on 1.5.3 now and I can say that ender io and ender core have both had updates
