Add command to Stop Metals in VSCode

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Sometimes I want to use VSCode as a normal editor without any IDE features, so I don't waste laptop battery and don't heat up my laptop.

Describe the solution you'd like

It would be nice to have a command in VSCode like "Stop Metals" or "Close Metals", which would stop everything around metals and behave as the extension wasn't installed (maybe leaving the code coloring on).

Describe alternatives you've considered

I don't have any alternative, sometimes I kill metals but it restarts so it doesn't solve the problem.

I use a shell alias to start VSCode with the extension disabled: alias qode="code --disable-extension scalameta.metals"
