OSMC OpenVPN

I am using OSMC with Raspberry Pi I am trying to get openVPN to work with Quasar.

I have read this article: https://github.com/scakemyer/plugin.video.quasar/wiki/Quasar-VPN-Configuration-without-routing-everything-over-tunnel

Do you have a solution for us KODI users on OSMC / Linux as well or is it the same solution? Problem is getting hold of GUID identifier and wheter or not the IP route is the same on a OSMC device as in Windows ?

I have tried this approach, and I am still not getting any download. All Quasar is saying is: FINDING.

VPN service is up and running. everything else seems to be working.

what other settings are you using ?
