I prefer the opposite, enter send message, and controlenter new line , like other apps does.

I confirm it happens here with 0.9.0, it didn't happen with 0.8.2 Sometimes if I left a room, nheko crashes

I can confirm this feature works very well on pinephone (I compiled the .deb)

@tiol11 this PR just adds the line, but it doesn't jump to it I think #1146 is a different feature request

I am working in a gtk3 fork since some time ago: https://github.com/cafe-desktop/ctk I ported some applications and it just works.

The same happens here with 0.11.1 The same version worked with no problems, but now it crashes always on start, I see the same assertion failed: I installed older versions...
