Even with stopped development, I'm still using (not recommended), need to adjust lib build.gradle to make it work, too bad, but it was a great lib.

Seconding https://github.com/invertase/react-native-google-mobile-ads - @dylancom is doing a fantastic job over there, and it's supported by Invertase as well (maintainers of react-native-firebase / official Google Firebase port for react-native, and previous home of admob - so it's got years of support baked in already, only now is a separate package)

@wjaykim from https://github.com/react-native-admob/admob just joined forces with us at https://github.com/invertase/react-native-google-mobile-ads - so react-native-google-mobile-ads now has all the hooks from their package, and they just extended it to support AdInspector, with Google Ad Manager support in the very final steps before merge+release as v6

We even have support for the latest version of mobile-ads SDK already, and a consent management library that's current

Invertase is the company behind react-native-firebase - which is the source of the admob code before firebase split admob out, it's well-supported as a project with serious sponsor backing

All that's left in react-native-google-mobile-ads is native ads support and I'll see if I can convince the maintainer from the one package that supports it to join us as well so we've got a 5-maintainer crew over there :muscle: - join us!
