Is it possible to change background color for android smart banner

Thank you for this awesome project. I am using banner in FlatList. And in android, there space will be filled but it's possible to change the backgrund color? I tried the style props and also look into the native code and doc. It seems it's impossible but just want to know if other tried any other method?
