after clicking on banner, cannot bring app back from background

I'm using "react-native-admob": "2.0.0-beta.5", and "react-native": "0.55.3".

I've built an android app, added this library, and the ads are showing. all good. BUT, there is a weird bug in this scenario:

  1. open app
  2. click on BANNER AD
  3. app goes to background and browser opens with the ad link
  4. touch recent screens button to show all recent (running and background) apps
  5. click on the app
  6. APP DOES NOT COME BACK AND RECENT SCREENS LIST GOES AWAY

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR => app comes back up

And the only way to bring the app back up, is to tap on the app icon. if you try to bring it up from recent screens list, nothing happens.

BTW, there's nothing wrong with my code. I've checked my app in this scenario with other outgoing URLs. this behavior happens only after clicking on a banner.

Any ideas? (Unfortunately I can't share my code because of NDA stuff.)
