Bad font rendering on Safari (macOS)

macOS 15.1
Safari 18.1

Fonts in Safari on macOS look bad. See image. And some symbols like this 👎 do not appear in the main list.

Sorry you've been having to deal with this @simonbcn, unfortunately I don't have access to a mac to debug and fix this ;(

If anyone is able to look into this further and potentially provide a fix that would be amazing!

Just to note: I believe it works on mobile safari (ios).

Oh I see. I may be able borrow an iphone to test it at some point, maybe fixing it there could fix some issues on mac.
