I kind of gave up after looking into AniList and Trakt and saw zero ways of exporting my data (maybe you know if i missed something there?).

For AniList there is the GDPR Data Download (perhaps it's only available in Europe?) in Profile > Settings > Account > GDPR Download which exports a JSON with everything

I've been coming back to this issue and the GDPR JSON export that I mentioned here is still unreliable as it was last year - 90% of the time it's not working and for certain users it never works. While there is a discussion on their forum, it doesn't seem like they're investing any time in it.

I've tried using their API instead, but I'm unsure about their terms of use.

1. Free for non-commercial usage. See our commercial usage section for more.
2. Using the AniList API as a backup or data storage service is strictly prohibited.
3. Hoarding or mass collection of data from the AniList API is strictly prohibited.
4. Applications or services must comply with our naming guidelines.
5. Prohibited from use within competing noncomplementary services of the same nature. This includes, but is not limited to Anime/Manga list/tracker services. Competing services may be authorized on request if they provide significant sustained integration/syncing with the AniList API and AniList user accounts.

1, 3 and 4 are fine, but 2 and 5 quite sound like a problem, right?
