Somehow the source needs to be provided. Or should the source just be made avilable via git-annex? Currently I dont know how this can be done in deb build env.

I'm ok to remove the data in a later stage but first of all, it should be visible to users that something was wrong. Maybe they want to analyze WHY...
You mean, to drop the whole github action? Actually, for foreman_acd it works pretty good.
Well, if you have "your way" to release the plugin, feel free to remove it again
