Thank you @lltodoll! @danpros why has this not yet been merged? The option to use Matomo instead of Google Analytics would surely be appreciated by existing and future users.

In combination with email signups and some privacy settings for the users (progress is hidden from the public and only visible for the teacher/course creator or the group members) this...

As a teacher I thank you for memcode! Features I'd like to see VERY much: - email signups - it doesn't make sense to let all students create github accounts......
