I did notice today that occasionally it will load infinitely again. But when refreshing the page it instantly displays the weather. I will definitely investigate this further.

I definitely understand your concern with the resolution of the images. I sourced these images from various websites, and, unfortunately, these were the highest resolution versions that I could find....
