Shortcode

Similar to the widget. Not sure yet whether a shortcode is necessary or not.

Not sure if it is necessary either as I don't see a lot of people wanting to put their social links on particular posts (well maybe the about us page). But on the other hand the code to generate it is pretty short so maybe it would be a good idea, https://gist.github.com/1210157 (Sorry I can't get inline code to showup right for some reason).

I think I'm going to hold off on implementing this, unless a lot of people start asking for it.

I almost was to the point of "asking for it", since some themes do not offer widgets (for one reason or another).

But then I found the Shortcode Exec PHP plugin, and it works beautifully with Social Bartender, although at the cost of adding another plugin to your WP install.
