Image Stretch factor

Rn the website stretches images too far horizontally on a 2k monitor, which gives an unprofessional feel. An Idea would be to give the image container a viewport fraction to stretch to, or not stretch the images at all.

on my full HD monitor its stretch a bit but is quite noticeable
