https and knox support

It looks the https is not supported.
And it only supports URLs like http://host:port/webhdfs/v1, but when using knox, the URL is usually something like https://knoxgatewayhost:knoxgatewayport/gateway/default/webhdfs/v1

It would be good if these can be implemented. For instance, providing an option to set the base URL.
