File preview in directory view

I'd love to have ranger-like file preview on the right-hand side in the directory view, and ranger's rifle for opening files.

Hi @jtrakk! This is a fun idea. =) This will not be possible until VisiData has split pane support. Luckily, that is on the roadmap. We can provide support for adding this feature when that work is integrated.

Give it the ability to run a preview command like fzf tool does with the --preview flag.

Hi @jtrakk, this is a really good idea, I'm going to add it to the roadmap as it will become very easy to do once VisiData has split-pane support. Thanks for the suggestion!
