screen recorder is repeating the same typed letter many times
when i'm typing in a notepad using the screen recorder, it's repeating the same typed letter many times. For instance, i'm typing "test" and the screen recorder is saving "tttttteeeeeesssssstttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt"
what am I doing wrong?
Hi @joaopintof, we will take a look at this issue.
@joaopintof
Is this issue occuring every time you try to perform a screen recording? The recorder is supposed to trap each key press. If the key presses are sequential, it will try to group them together as one command instead of making each key press its own command - it looks like it may be firing multiple times for the same key press. I am not currently seeing this -- are you finding this on every machine? Which version are you using?
me too at latest version
@saucepleez @joaopintof it seems that it works incorrectly now
I experienced this issue also, but only when accessing taskt remotely. When I remoted via AnyDesk from a Win7 machine into a Win10 machine running taskt, I had results like @joaopintof describes above. However, when running taskt on the same machine but not remotely, I did not experience the issue.
Thanks @burque505. @joaopintof and @dreamcomerchen1 can you confirm if you are accessing taskt remotely?
@saucepleez it's not my case. I didn't try remotely yet.
I have the same problem. Every character using "send keystrokes" in a step made with the record feature is being repeated.
I have the same issue. If someone else has this bug, while it is not solved, I suggest you to record the steps, then open the recorded step that has the keystrokes and change the text to what you really want to send.
I am experiencing the same issue.
I have the same issue.
Came here while searching for a solution to getting multiple keystrokes with AnyDesk. I believe the issue is with AnyDesk (quite a few threads report this) and not taskt. Hopefully this would allow closing this issue.
When I run the solution from the development branch. It works fine though
