Make extension restartless?

It would be nice to have a restartless version of this add-on, however I'm not sure it's possible.

The right question is "why wouldn't it be so?". I'm not a developer, I'm just a plain user, so I don't know the possible limitations that would make it impossible. But what I see is that Multifox "classic" is restartless, and "tabbed Multifox" generally works the same way. And that, for example, "Private Tab" - it's a restarless add-on add-on that also works with tabs, almost the same way that 'tabbed Multifox' does.

Just as an observation: >50% of my currently active add-ons are already restartless.
