Spring bone question
So, my small brain cant figure out how the spring bone work There is a Spring Bone setting but I cant make it use of it since it does nothing, no preview or something, the input value also don't change anything There no guide at https://vrm-addon-for-blender.info/en/ how to operate the spring bone
Can someone tell me how the spring bone setting work? Or can anyone tell me how to remove the spring bone setting so I can use a separate Addon?

Sorry, no documentation yet. Until documentation is in place., the terminology is the same as in Unity, so you can refer to the Unity documentation. https://vrm.dev/en/univrm/springbone/univrm_secondary
Its okay- I found the reason of my crash I'm using Spring Bone Addons from Artell and Blender will hardcrash if the bones have a really long name like (cf12cd928c5caf81553373f2b160036ae8c444a2.transferable_Hair.008) Your Addons work perfectly fine <3 Just need some documentation xD

Hey I've been also trying to understand how to use the spring bones in Blender, could you share your discoveries? I've tried to translate the unity doc but I don't really understand how to get the bones to spring?
Hey, sorry for my late reply. I'm also a newborne for the add-ons. But its pretty easy to activate the spring bones. You just need to install the add-ons
- Select your armature
- Go to pose mode
- Select bone you want to turn into spring bone
- In properties tab, scroll down until you find "Spring Bone" tab and check the Spring and Rotation
Here the video if you prefer listen than read https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KDhoENmMlDM

Thank you soooooo much for the explanation and the video, everything works great now!! ^^
@saturday06 Can VRM_Addon_for_Blender implement its own spring bone simulation? (maybe by using blender rigidbody like in https://github.com/powroupi/blender_mmd_tools)
Artell's add-on does no handle, for example, hit radius .
Can VRM_Addon_for_Blender implement its own spring bone simulation?
I think it can be done, but not right away as I am busy with VRM 1.0 support right now.
woops sorry wrong reply ;-;
