Had to revert this pull request because it broke the "environments" endpoint.
You want "alerta-server" not "alerta" -- which is the python command-line tool. https://pypi.org/project/alerta-server/#history

Have you tried toggling this setting?
I don't understand. The list of services is filtered by customer if a user is assigned to a customer. See https://github.com/alerta/alerta/blob/master/alerta/views/alerts.py#L507
