Problem opening file from shortcut to local installation

Hi Folks,

Followed the instructions from section 2 of the "manual" and have a local copy of bib/i working quite happily. I can drop a file on the target or click and browse and the epub opens as expected. However I'm having trouble with the following...

As with the web publication of the next item, if you use the bookshelf folder, you can also specify a book with the URL in the address bar so you can treat it like a bookshelf when combined with the browser bookmark.

I've put a copy of the epub in "bookshelf" but no matter what I try when creating a desktop shortcut the system reports that the file cannot be found.

Any chance of an example - I think I'm being thrown by "with the URL in the address bar so you can treat it like a bookshelf when combined with the browser bookmark."

Many thanks,

Andy B.

OK, here's a bit more detail...

All of the following is using Google Chrome Version 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit)

I expanded a copy of bibi on my desktop which I can launch by browsing to file:///C:/Users/Andy/Desktop/bib/i/index.html and then open a book.

With the file "Book1.epub" located in the bookshelf directory browsing to file:///C:/Users/Andy/Desktop/bib/i/index.html?book=Book1.epub I see the following in the browser title <title>This E-Book is Published with BiB/i | EPUB Reader on your website.</title> and "The Origin of the Path of the Book Is Not Allowed." in bibi

Browsing to file:///C:/Users/Andy/Desktop/bib/i/?book=Book1.epub just results in showing the content of the directory "C:\Users\Andy\Desktop\bib\i" in the browser

Thoughts please!

You need to host Bibi if you want to open remote or books inside the bookshelf
